All-female musical theater troupe Takarazuka Revue, established in 1913, inspiration for and parodied by manga and anime creators from Osamu Tezuka down to the present day, finally came Stateside this month with a performance of Bob Fosse crime musical Chicago at the David H. Koch Theater as part of the Lincoln Center Festival. The show is headed back to Japan with stops in Tokyo and Osaka this August. To promote ticket sales for those, Pia has posted some clips of the show's best known number and its American curtain call.
