"Fairy Tail" Manga 10th Anniversary Art Exhibition to be Held in Tokyo This September

Hiro Mashima's action fantasy manga series Fairy Tail has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2006, and its 56-volume tankobons' total print run in Japan has reached 35 million copies. To commemorate its 10th anniversary, a time-limited special exhibition dedicated to Mashima's original manga drawings will be held on the fifth floor of Tokyo Solamachi in Tokyo Skytree Town for nine days from September 17 to 25.

In addition to the manga arts, the event will also display two life-size statues of the manga characters, the protagonist Natsu Dragneel and the main heroine Lucy Heartfilia, based on Mashima's newly drawn arts. 3,000-yen advance tickets with a "Fairy Gift" set will be available between August 6 and September 16.
