Gakuen Handsome, a TV anime based on the bizarre B.L. spoof game by Team YokkyuFuman, will be airing on Tokyo MX and other stations beginning on in October of 2016, and the series will feature two different audio tracks: one for the TV anime voice cast, and another for the game voice cast.
The line-up of characters for Gakuen Handsome includes:
Yoshiki Maeda, voiced by Natsuki Hanae in the anime version and Kakeru Tokio in the game version.
Sakuya Mitsurugi, voiced by Ryōhei Kimura in the anime version and Kinkin in the game version.
Teruhiko Saionji, voiced by Yuuto Suzuki in the anime version and Roji Neko in the game version.
Takuya Saotome, voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara in the anime version and Gakeno Ueno Poniyo in the game version.
Renji Kagami, voiced by Kazunori Nomiya in the anime version and Yoshida Ijuin in the game version.
Shingo Shiga, voiced by Satoshi Tsuruoka in the anime version and Hauruno Ugoku Shiro in the game version.
Jiro, voiced by Taiten Kusunoki in the anime version and Takaaki in the game version.
And Yuu, voiced by Satomi Akesaka in the anime version and 10Re in the game version.
Gakuen Handsome began life as a dating sim for Windows PC and Mac systems in 2010. It was adapted into a game for Android and iOS smart phones in 2013, and inspired an anime OAV in 2015. The Gakuen Handsome TV anime was partially funded by crowdfunding via Makuake, raising more than 5.5 million yen (about $52,000 US) in the process.
