The Table Museum figma series from FREEing, Max Factory and Good Smile Company takes classics of (so far all Western) art and turns them into rather irreverent poseable figures. At this past weekend's Wonder Festival figure event, the latest were unveiled. Along with teasing the Mona Lisa, visitors got an early look at a prototype of the line's take on Norwegian painter/printmaker Edvard Munch's classic "The Scream."
The figure's conventional aghast posture is complemented by a more kawaii heart-hand gesture.
