Remember the Pokémon GO Plus accessory that Nintendo had planned for release along with the hit mobile game? The purpose of the strap was basically to work with your phone via Bluetooth to vibrate and flash when you're within range of a PokéStop or Pokémon. The device will also let you collect items and throw a Pokéball to collect your findings, and all of this sounds like it may actually keep some heads up while walking around playing GO.
Unfortunately, if you were excited about this accessory you'll have to wait a little longer. Pokémon GO Plus was originally scheduled to launch this month, but Nintendo announced a delay that moves the device to September.
Here's what they had to say on Facebook:
The Pokémon GO Plus accessory will now be released in September 2016 instead of the originally expected end of July launch date. Thanks for your patience, trainers. For more information please visit http://ift.tt/29nzvOU
If people couldn't already tell you're playing Pokémon GO, they'll definitely be able to now.
