The Japan Animator Expo showcase of shorts from Dwango and Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno's Studio Khara, has announced plans to return for a new short, to screen theatrically for one week starting October 15 at Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 and Osaka's Umeda Burg 7 and be offered on Blu-ray. Rebuild of Evangelion's Studio Khara will be producing this Reboot of Headgear's (Mamoru Oshii, writer Kazunori Itō, mecha designer Yutaka Izubuchi, character designer Akemi Takada, and manga artist Masami Yūki) realistic police mecha series Patlabor.
