In commemoration of its 15th anniversary, Japanese figure company Good Smile Company has released "FUTURE FACTORY," a three-minute guide video of their Rakutsuki factory in Tottori Prefecture, introduced by a robot manager named L.U.C.K.Y. (aka Rassan). The factory was opened in December 2014 as the company's first domestic production base.
Message from Good Smile Company:
"At Good Smile Company, we have faced many challenging projects over the years, including; developing figures and Nendroids, building a figure factory in Japan, forming a car racing team, and promoting air races. For our 15th anniversary, we are facing a new challenge - to study ‘How robots can work with humans’. For this project, we created this video about the robot who became factory manager of the Lucky Factory, which produces made in Japan figures. This is our vision of a near-future
figure factory - a world where robots and humans coexist. We will never cease to cultivate our vision and
dream, and will continue to make a world beyond our imagination."
