NIS America announced plans to bring Disgaea 2 PC to Steam, with the Windows OS, OS X, and Steam OS launch set for January 30, 2017. The Steam version is the definitive edition that includes content form Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories on PlayStation 2 and Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days on PSP. It also features Dark Eclair, Gig, and Miabel from the Japanese version of Cursed Memories.
To mark the occasion, Adell, Rozalin, Zetta, and Pleinair from Disgaea 2 are now playable in Disgaea PC.
