Beginning in September of 2016, Japanese satellite subscription channel NHK BS Premium will be airing all 26 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion, a ground-breaking, mecha / psychological TV anime from 1995 with direction by Hideaki Anno and animation production by Studio Gainax and Tatsunoko Production.

The re-broadcast will feature HD remastered video and 5.1ch surround audio. Neon Genesis Evangelion will air on NHK BS Premium every Friday at 11:45 PM JST beginning on September 16, 2016.
