"Natsume's Book Of Friends" Season Five Visual Published With Preview Event Plans

Four years after the last season, and eight years after the first, Yuki Midorikawa's Natsume Yujin-cho or Natsume's Book of Friends is returning for a fifth run of anime. The supernatural shoujo from LaLa returns in fall 2016 with Takahiro Omori back as chief director. Kotomi Deai, who previously helmed the OVA, serves as director. A preview screening of the first episode, featuring cast Hiroshi Kamiya, Kazuhiko Inoue, and Kazuma Horie, is planned for October 1st, and today, the associated visual was published.

Priority ticket sales are offered to consumers who bought the second anime Blu-ray box set.

Announced goods on sale at the event include clearfile and brochure (2,000yen), button set (1,000yen), Nyanko-sensei face tote bag (1500yen) and Nyako-sensei frosted cookies (600yen).
