The 11th volume of the Overlord light novel being released in Japan on Friday has confirmed that it will receive an animated feature film adaptation, with more information to be confirmed in the future. The light novel series first received a TV anime adaptation in 2015, which was simulcast by Funimation in the US and covers the first three light novel volumes. Along with the confirmation of the film adaptation, the limited edition version of the same light novel volume includes a new OAD.
