The series' Twitter account has published a preview of the fall anime adaptation of Yūki Shikawa's Bernard-jō Iwaku. (Miss Bernard said...). The series follows the exploits of Sawako Machida, who calls herself "Barnard-jou/Miss Bernard" as she routinely visits her school library to learn the classics through osmosis.

The author received the 18th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize's Short Work Prize for his three works including this. Dream Creation, who recently produced the TV anime adaptations of Yumi Nakata's My Wife is the Student Council President and Choborau Nyopomi's Magical Somera-chan, will handle this series.
The manga was first serialized in Ascii Media Works' web manga site Dengeki Comic Japan from 2012 to 2013, and is currently running in Ichijinsha's monthly magazine Comic REX. So far two tankobon volumes are available from Ichijinsha.
The series' conversations bring up many famous writers and their notable works, such as George Bernard Shaw, "Ender's Game" (Orson Scott Card), Greg Egan, "Hello Summer, Goodbye" (Michael Greatrex Coney), Philip K. Dick, "The Brothers Karamazov" (Fyodor Dostoyevsky), and Haruki Murakami.

The anime's theme song "Love! Library" is performed by two-member doujin unit Shoujo Fractal that consists of Miya Amamiya and Risa Yuzuki. The unit was formed in the winter of 2014 and has mainly performed the Touhou Project and Kantai Collection-related songs for Nico Nico Douga and various doujin events including Comic Market.
