In a season of returning favorites, evidently fall's most anticipated is Karasuno High School vs Shiratorizawa Academy, the third season of Haruichi Furudate's volleyball series, Haikyu!! With the series scheduled to debut on MBS, TBS, CBC, RKB, HBC, TBC, and BS-TBS on October 7, a new preview offers the latest look, accompanied by a visual touring Tokyo to promote the series.
The season's OP theme song "Hikariare" (Let there be light) is performed by three-member Japanese rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES, while its ED song "Mashi Mashi" is played by fou-member group NICO Touches the Walls. The former previously provided their first major single "FLY HIGH!!" as the second OP song for the anime's second season, while the latter's 15th single "Tenchi Gaeshi" was used as the first ED song for the first season.
