Kles, a special non-profit organization based in Kyushu, has announced that its first full orchestra concert dedicated to anime, game, and tokusatsu music and songs, titled "Anison Classic Kitakyushu 2016 vol.1," is scheduled to be held at Kitakyushu Performing Arts Center in Fukuoka on November 1. 4,000-yen advance tickets are now available at Ticket Pia and Ticket Lawson.
54-year-old Kaoru Wada, well known for his anime soundtrack works for The Kindaichi Case Files, Inuyasha, and D.Gray-man, produces the project and will conduct the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra. In the first part of the concert, the two main voice actors from the Inuyasha anime series, Kappei Yamaguchi (Inuyasha) and Satsuki Yukino (Kagome Higurashi) will make a guest appearance for the "Inuyasha Drama Orchestra" segment to read lines from the famous scenes of the anime.
In the second part, singer Azumi Inoue, best known for singing the theme/insert songs for Studio Ghibli's
Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, and Kiki's Delivery Service, will perform the Ghibli songs as the lead
singer with the Kitakyushu Kokura Boys and Girls Choir.
