"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable" Live-Action Film Project Officially Confirmed

It is officially announced at the press conference jointly held by Toho and Warner Brothers Japan today that live-action film adaptations of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, the fourth story arc of Hirohiko Araki's long-running JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga series, are in the works and its first part is slated for summer 2017. 56-year-old Takashi Miike, who recently helmed the critically and commercially failed live-action film adaptation of Kenichi Tachibana and Yu Sasuga's sci-fi action manga Terra Formars, is confirmed to direct.
