A new trailer for The Great Passage, a TV anime based on the novel by Shion Miura about a team of publishers and researchers assembling a massive Japanese language dictionary, is now available online.
The story of The Great Passage follows Mitsuya Majime, an employee of the Genbu Shobo publishing house who is transferred from his sales position to a post in the dictionary editing department. There he re-discovers his love for language as he works on assembling a massive Japanese dictionary entitled "The Great Passage", and he also begins to fall in love with Kaguya Hayashi, a chef-in-training and the grand-daughter of his landlady.
The Great Passage is directed by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi and features animation by ZEXCS. The series will begin broadcasting as part of Fuji TV's "noitaminA" block beginning on October 13, 2016.
