Tezuka Productions today revealed two Hatsune Miku illustrations drawn in the Osamu Tezuka style for the upcoming memorial orchestra concert for the late Isao Tomita, "Isao Tomita x Hatsune Miku: Dr. Coppelius" to be held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo on November 11 and 12, 2016.
Tomita, who was known as one of the pioneers of electronic music in Japan and passed away in May 2016 at age of 84, provided the soundtrack music for the anime adaptations of Tezuka's popular manga works such as Jungle Emperor, Princess Knight, and Dororo, featured the most famous vocaloid character Miku in his "Symphony Ihatov” concert tour in 2012. Miku is, of course, scheduled to join the memorial concert as a virtual singer/dancer.
