A new key visual for Mobile Police Patlabor - Reboot, an upcoming short anime that will receive a limited theatrical run in October of 2016, is now available online. As its title suggests, Mobile Police Patlabor - Reboot is a new animation that continues the misadventures of the Special Vehicles Unit of Headgear's much-beloved Mobile Police Patlabor anime.
Mobile Police Patlabor - Reboot is directed by Yasuhiro Yoshiura (Time of Eve) and animated by Studio Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion), and it features the voice talent of Megumi Hayashibara and Koichi Yamadera. The film will receive a limited theatrical release in Japan at the Shinjuku Wald 9 and Umeda Burg 7 theaters beginning on October 15, 2016.
