"My Hero Academia" Author Pays Tribute To Second Anniversary

In May, 2012 Shonen Jump launched Kōhei Horikoshi's sci-fi manga Barrage. In September 2012, Shonen Jump concluded Kōhei Horikoshi's not entirely successful sci-fi manga Barrage. But, one of the things about Jump is that there are second acts. (Look up the career of Toriko's Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro). Horikoshi's next work was series called My Hero Academia, which you might have heard from its 10 volume+ best selling, ongoing runs, adaptations in anime, games and more.

This week, Jump celebrated the second anniversary of the series (launched July 7, 2014) with a cover, color page and introduction to the latest character poll. Horikoshi missed the newsstand debut by a day, but he did check into Twitter to add to the anniversary hype, thanking fans and reminding them to vote.
