We recently posted about the Senran Kagura portal that Marvelous opened to celebrate the series' 5th anniversary and tease an upcoming announcement. Now we know when to expect the reveal, because the October 20 issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu will have the official announcement when it hits stands on October 6.
Senran Kagura producer Kenichiro Takaki announced these plans earlier today during a Famitsu live stream. He also showed off this picture of Yagyuu:
