After a hit tour of Tokyo, Osaka and Sapporo that topped 40,000 visitors, the MadoGatari exhibit celebrating the 40th anniversary of anime studio Shaft added a Nagoya engagement in May, then topped that with an encore Tokyo exhbition this month. With the Tokyo Encore coming up September 22-25, the event has now previewed anniversary cards for visitors, feauturing Madoka Magica original character artist Ume and Aoki and Monogatari artist Vofan draws Madoka x Shinobu.

Elsewhere, Monogatari anime character designer Akio Watanabe has illustrated a post for Kizumonogatari <Ⅱ Nekketsu Hen>, offered to fans who go see the movie in theaters for its fifth week of distribution. Another illustration is being prepared for the 6th week.
Akio Watanabe has also posted an illustration he did for the fill-in art cards at the Pop Team Epic cafe
