The official website for Kadokawa's monthly four-panel manga magazine Comic Cune announced today that a TV anime adpatation of Tarabagani's slice-of-life manga Nyanko Days is in the works. The news was also revealed on the cover of the magazine's newest November 2016 issue published today in Japan. And the official Twitter for the manga opens today, more information are expected to be posted there soon.

The manga has been serialized in the magazine since its October 2014 issue and its first tankobon
volume was released in December 2015. The story centers on the protagonist shy girl Tomoko Konagai's
after school life with her personified three cats, Maa, Roo, and Shii.
The author has posted her comment on the project on her official Twitter: "Nyanko Days is getting an
anime! It is thanks to everyone who has supported me. I am so happy! I'll work harder to make the
manga more exciting as well!"
