The special Rurouni Kenshin Puzzle & Dragons event is coming up soon, beginning on Monday, September 5th at 1:00 am PT and running through Monday, September 19th at 12:59 am PT.
The collaboration will follow the show's Kyoto arc, featuring Shishio Makoto's attempts to overthrow the current Meiji government. You'll work through them and open up a new dungeon by the end, which should mean you've now got a good reason to return to the game if you quit playing before.
Players can choose to recruit Kenshin, Sagara Sanosuke, Saito Hajime, Shinomori Aoshi, Seta Sojiro, Takani Megumi, Kamiya Kaoru, Myojin Yahiko, Makimachi Misao, and Honjo Kamatari via the in-game Rurouni Kenshin Collab Egg Machine. Kenshin and Saito even have their own ultimate evolution forms.
