The official website for the upcoming TV anime Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- today posted a 15-second CM announcing its October 2 premiere on Tokyo MX, Kansai TV, and BS11. The clip also previews the anime's OP song "Hanamaru Biyori!" sung by Mitsuhiro Ichiki (Yasusada Yamatonokami) and Toshiki Masuda (Kiyomitsu Kashu). The song will be included in the first song collection CD to be released on September 24. The anime's ED songs will be different in each episode and performed by the featured characters in the stories.
Touken Ranbu Hanamaru, animated by Doga Kobo (Himouto! Umaru-chan, Luck & Logic), is the first of the two TV anime adaptations of the Touken Ranbu -Online- browser video game developed by Nitroplus and DMM Games. The second TV anime produced by ufotable (Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works], GOD EATER) is slated for sometime in 2017.
