The official website for 41-year-old popular anime voice actor/singer Hiroshi Kamiya announced today that his upcoming event to commemorate the release of his 6th mini album "Theater" in Tokyo this Sunday is postponed due to his health issue. The name of his disease is not revealed. Further notice including a possible cancellation of the event will be made by email later.
He was originally scheduled to hold five events for the album: in Tokyo on September 18, in Osaka November 26, in Nagoya on November 27, in Fukuoka on December 3, and in Sendai on December 10. So far no cancellations for other events is announced. The six-song mini album was released in Japan on August 24 and ranked 4th in the weekly album chart selling 20,743 units in its first week.
As an anime voice actor, he is best known as Levi in Attack on Titan and Choromatsu Matsuno in Osomatsu-san, and is currently playing Kusuo Saiki in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. and Buriburizaemon
in Crayon Shin-chan.
