The story of Koyomi Araragi and the iron-blooded, hot-blooded, cold-blooded vampire: Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade continues its journey west with the middle of Shaft's theatrical anime adaptation, Kizumonogatari- Part 2: Nekketsu, which is now scheduled to hit Japanese Blu-ray and DVD on December 21st. A very hot, iron-blooded promo offers the hypes the release.
Character designers Hideyuki Morioka and Akio Watanbe illustrate the digipak and insert booklet cover art respectively. Bonuses include a background music CD and new character commentary on Kiss-shot and Hanekawa.

Speaking of Shaft adaptations of Nisio Isin novels, with this week's release of the first part of the eight-OAV Kubikiri Cycle adaptation of the first Zaregoto novel, Akio Watanabe's for the second has been previewed.
Vertical has announced plans to release the novel in English. Del Rey previously released it in 2007.
The publisher also released the Kizumonogatari novel in English.
