Just because Nintendo Switch is coming out sometime in March doesn't mean 3DS has to die right away. If Capcom has anything to say about it, Nintendo's portable will no doubt be home to many more Monster Hunter entries, and the next is Monster Hunter XX (that's Double Cross). The follow-up to Monster Hunter X (Monster Hunter Generations in the west) was revealed during a Japanese Nintendo Direct presentation, and it's set to launch in the region on March 18, 2017.
Monster Hunter XX will feature new hunting styles such as the powerful Brave Style, new techniques for all 14 weapons, enhanced Prowler Mode actions, new fields, a new base, and new main monsters. More details on each of the new features will be revealed later, but for now you can check out the debut trailer below.
