In the December issue of Media Factory's Comic Cune magazine (published in Japan on October 27, 2016), the main staff was announced for the TV anime adaptation of Nyanko Days, Tarabagani's 4-panel manga about personified house cats.
The main staff for Nyanko Days includes:
- Director: Yoshimasa Hiraike (Gugure! Kokkuri-san)
- Character design: Miwa Ooshima (Anne-Happy)
- Animation production: EMT Squared (Kumamiko - Girl Meets Bear, The Highschool Life of a Fudanshi)
The original Nyanko Days manga is serialized in Media Factory's Comic Cune magazine. The story follows the daily life of Tomoko Konagai, a shy schoolgirl, and her three house cats (Maa, Roo, and Shii) who are represented as tiny people with cat ears and tails. The Nyanko Days TV anime will begin its Japanese broadcast in January of 2017.
