Last week an "urgent announcement" was set to coincide with the new one-shot manga by Monster, Billy Bat, and 20th Century Boys author Naoki Urasawa. Now that the issue of Big Comic Spirits in question is out, the announcement concerns plans for Urasawa to launch a new manga series in 2017.
Urasawa's one-shot comic is DAMiYAN!, which centers on yakuza members hanging out in a diner. His most recent series with frequent collaborator Takashi Nagasaki, Billy Bat, came to an end in August after an eight-year run.
