Yeah, so, apparently the silver haired "mystery girl" in those Re:ZERO school pics posted last week weren't of Emilia. Web novel readers are already familiar with this character, who will be playing a major role in October's volume 10. Revealed this weekend, she will be the focus of the cover for the book, to be released in Japan on October 25th.

There was a fake anime site listed for the character (whose name has also been spelled "Echidna") that had many admirers. Even the series' author retweeted it.

Also, the series' editor has posted color designs for a character who turned up in volume 9, Sin Archbishop of the Witch Cult Regulus Corneas - this guy describes himself as "unselfish" and is particularly vigilant when it comes to his rights being violated.
