The official website for the ongoing TV anime Trickster based on Japanese mystery novel writer Edogawa Ranpo's "The Boy Detective Club" series announced today that a two-episode OVA "EPISODE 00" will be released on December 22, 2016. Both stories are set before the TV anime series, focusing on the past of the main characters. One episode tells the relationship between Kogoro Akechi and Kaijin Nijumensou (The Fiend with Twenty Faces), and another features the activity of the Boy Detective Club before Hansaski meets Kobayashi. The price for the 50-minute Blu-ray disc is 7, 000 yen.
