Luxury fashion band Gucci has had a long standing relationship with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure creator Hirohiko Araki that has included a dedicated Rohan Kishibe spin-off story, exhibit at Tokyo's Shinjuku Gucci, commemorating the 90th anniversary of the brand, touring collaboration and Italian exhibit. Now, they have an "anime" decorated Garden Room.
The project was organized by Alessandro Michele, an Italian designer/excutives appointed appointed Creative Director of Gucci in January 2015 to handle the brand's global issue. In the immersive collaborative art project, “Gucci 4 Rooms” exhibit at Toyko’s Gucci Ginza and Dover Street Market locations, four artists used real and virtual spaces to express the "eclectic and inventive spirit of the house." So, along side contributions by GucciGhost, Chiharu Shiota, and Daito Manabe, Mr. (Masakatsu Iwamoto - a Saitama based protege of modern artist Takashi Murakami - and self-proclaimed otaku and lolicon) contributed an "anime" incorperated installation in the Gucci Garden.

Gucci introduces Mr. and his work...
Mr. was one of the first artists to introduce manga and anime into the art world by translating them through a Pop reference. His Lolita-esque characters feature accentuated big eyes and looks, which he conveys in diverse paintings, sculptures, and animated works. The resulting images are a genuine representation of contemporary Japanese street style and muses of urban youth culture. For Gucci 4 Rooms, Mr. created the Gucci Garden Room, filled with the House’s insects, plants, and flowers mixed with his art. Blown into gigantic dimensions, his works take on new symbolic meanings, where normal perceptions are subverted and the surroundings are transformed into a multimedia fairytale garden of Eden.
