YouTube user TheDominoKing has more than 100,000 subscribers tuning in to watch him create elaborate domino setups featuring characters from anime, video games, and American cartoons. Most recently, he devoted several weeks and tens and thousands of dominoes to the first Legend of Zelda game he ever played, The Wind Waker.
The setup took 78,175 dominoes and three weeks of work just to put together, and it all comes down in less than four minutes. Multicolored dominoes fall down to reveal game items, locations, and portraits of Link, Zelda, and other characters in the game. The grand finale? A massive portrait of Ganondorf.
The creator notices that this is a "screen link" setup -- that is, he hasn't filled his entire house with room after room of dominoes. Rather, each layout is set up and filmed individually, then edited together into one finished piece.
You can view more of his domino tributes on his YouTube channel.
