In case you forgot or are blissfully unaware, a Sonic the Hedgehog movie is currently in the works at Sony Pictures, and a recent update has Deadpool director Tim Miller getting in on the action. While he won't be directing, Miller will act as executive producer on what is aiming to be a "hybrid CG-animated/live-action family film."
Miller's long-time collaborator Jeff Fowler will make his directorial debut with Sonic the Hedgehog, which is being produced by the Fast and the Furious franchise's Neal H. Moritz.
As long as that doesn't mean they'll be adapting the human-hedgehog love story from Sonic the Hedgehog 2006, I think we can all rest easy.
