The official website for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's Hagane no Renkinjutsushi/Fullmetal Alchemist manga today posted a teaser visual featuring the two Elric brothers standing in the station premises filled with steam. A new tagline says, "The Legend of The Brothers Begins from Here."
23-year-old Ryosuke Yamada, a member of Japanese idol group Hey! Say! JUMP, is cast as as the protagonist Edward Elric, and his younger brother Alphonse is drawn in full CG. Its three-month shooting was already finished in Japan in August 2016, and Warner Brothers Japan will distribute it in December 2017.

The site also announced that, to commemorate the release of the film, Hiromu Arakawa's original manga
art exhibition is planned to be held in the fall of 2017. It will be the first and biggest event ever for the franchise.
Details will be revelaed this spring.
