The Producer for "My Hero Academia" Is Coming to Anime Boston and Other Crunchyroll Guests and Panels!

We have a lot of panels and guests planned for Anime Boston and we wanted to share all the details with you. The first big one being that Crunchyroll is teaming up with Funimation on My Hero Academia guests & events!

Wakana Okamura, producer for My Hero Academia, will be attending Anime Boston this year!


Wakana Okamura (Producer of My Hero Academia, Psycho-Pass, Haikyu!!, and Blood Blockade Battlefront) will be a guest at Anime Boston this year and we couldn’t be more happy. With the second season of My Hero Academia kicking off the upcoming spring simulcast season we thought it would be a great if she was at Anime Boston to share the excitement with all the fans there. We decided to team up with Funimation, who will producing the Simuldub for the second season of My Hero Academia, to do just that.

Guest: LeSean Thomas


LeSean’s most recent works are as Creative Producer and Supervising director of Black Dynamite: The Animated Series, storyboard and animation production artist on The Legend of Korra, Director/Lead Character Designer for The Boondocks, as well as producer, director, and writer on an animated pilot Cannon Busters with Satelight Animation Studio. LeSean will be on hand to talk about all these different projects as well share some of the behind the scenes details of his new project that he is working on with Crunchyroll, Children of Ether.
