From July 15 to 31, Akihabara Culture Cafe Schatzkiste will hold a collaboration event with Nexon's Kemono Friends smartphone game, titled "JAPARI CAFE."
Mine Yoshizaki (Keroro Gunso/Sgt. Frog) has provided concept designs and the main illustration for the zoo-themed RPG featuring animals around the world who have transformed into girls called "Animal Girl." The game started its service for Android and iOS in Japan in March 2015, and its manga adaptation "Kemono Friends -Youkoso JAPARI Park he!-" illustrated by Fly has been serialized in Kadokawa's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine since its July 2015 issue. As part of the "Kemono Friends" project co-produced by Kadokawa and Nexon, its TV anime adaptation is already in the works.
For the limited time of two weeks, the private library-themed cafe will display the game's illustration panels and never-seen-before arts by Yoshizaki (the arts will be be changed after July 24) and offer
special drinks inspired by the world setting of the game. In addition, the maids at the cafe will wear
"Kemo Mimi" (Animal Ears) and all customers will receive one commemorative postcard for one visit
