The official trailer for Girls, a dark thriller starring Tsubasa Honda and Mizuki Yamamoto about a pair of high school girls with an unhealthy obsession, is now available online. The trailer highlights the dark subject matter of the film as well as the theme song by GLIM SPANKY.
In Girls, Yuki and Atsuko spend their summer vacation volunteering at a high risk pediatric ward and a nursing home. Their motivations aren't altruistic, though. Each girl hopes to witness the exact instant when another human being dies.
Girls is directed by Yukiko Mishima and based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Kanae Minato. The film debuts in Japanese theaters on October 08, 2016.
