Thanks to a livestreaming event held on Niconico, new details are now available concerning the 1st live concert event for Aqours, the 9 member voice unit from Love Live! Sunshine.
The concert will be a two-day event on February 25 and 26, 2017, at the Yokohama Arena in Shinyokohama, Kohoku Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
Fans who want to purchase advance tickets to the events can try their luck by purchasing the limited editions of the 1st and 2nd volumes of the Japanese Love Live! Sunshine Bluray home video release. The 1st volume goes on sale on September 27, 2016, while the 2nd volume goes on sale on October 26, 2016. Each volume retails for 4500 yen ($44.09 US).
Each limited edition volume includes an entry into a special, lottery-style drawing for advance ticket purchases: Volume 01 offers the chance at tickets for the February 25 concert date, while Volume 02 offers the chance at tickets for the February 26 concert date.
Love Live! Sunshine continues the school idol tradition of Love Live! School Idol Project with a new team of aspiring idols in a new location. The series is currently airing on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS, and other stations in Japan, and it is also part of Funimation's Summer 2016 simulcast line-up.
