Voice actor Tōru Furuya (Amuro Ray in Mobile Suit Gundam, Yamcha in Dragon Ball Z, Sabo in One Piece) is gearing up to celebrate 50 years of performing as a voice actor, and the festivities include a special edition mook, a mini-album, and a cross-country tour of Japan.
The mook ("magazine-book") will be published on September 23, 2016 by Kadokawa, and it will include archival photos, interviews with fellow voice actors and anime industry staff, and an overview of Furuya's decades-spanning career in voice acting. This publication will retail for 1000 yen ($9.73 US) including tax.

The mini-album will include 6 songs total, including three songs selected and performed by Furuya himself: "Meguriai" from Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space, "Saint Shinwa (Soldier Dream)" from Saint Seiya, and "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" from Dragon Ball Z. The mini-album retails for 1500 yen ($14.59 US) including tax and will also be published in Japan on September 23, 2016.
Finally, Furuya will be engaging in a meet-and-greet tour across all 47 prefectures of Japan. The dates and locations for the live events of this tour will be released at a later date on an official website.
