The official website for the upcoming "Jump Special Anime Festa 2016" event has added Boruto, a sequel to Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto series featuring the previous protagonist's son, to its screening lineup. But it has not been confirmed whether it will be a newly-produced footage.
The anime feature film Boruto: Naruto The Movie was released in August 2015, then the sequel manga has been serialized monthly in Weekly Shonen Jump since May 2016.
According to the list, newly-produced anime footage/episode based on Yuuki Tabata's Black Clover, Kohei Horikoshi's Boku no Hero Academia/My Hero Academia, Yuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki's Shokugeki no Soma are confirmed to be screened at the event. Ryo Nakama's Isobe Isobee Monogatari: Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo will have its "special" anime footage. But the two titles in the list, Boruto and Yoshiaki Sukeno's Sousei no Onmyouji/Twin Star Exorcists, have had no mention of what their
screening contents will be yet.
"Jump Special Anime Festa 2016" event is scheduled to be held at Tokyo (November 27) and four cities
(five locations/December 4). Entries for the entrance tickets will be accepted by mail till October 28.
