It appears that Avilio Bruno's quest for revenge against the mobsters that murdered his family has hit a bit of a snag, because according to a post on Chubu-Nippon Broadcasting's home page, the 11th episode of 91 Days is being delayed by 1 week in Japan.
The notice alerts viewers that Episode 11, which was scheduled to air on September 23, has been replaced with a re-run of Episode 10. Episodes 11 and 12 are now scheduled to air back-to-back on September 30, 2016. Although no official reason was given for the postponement, fans are speculating about an unexpected problem cropping up during production.
91 Days is directed by Hiro Kaburagi and features animation by Shuka. Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:
"During Prohibition, the law held no power and the mafia ruled the town. The story takes place in Lawless, a town thriving on black market sales of illicitly brewed liquor. One day, Avilio receives a letter from a mysterious sender, prompting him to return to Lawless for revenge. He then infiltrates the Vanetti family, the ones responsible for his family's murder, and sets about befriending the don's son, Nero, to set his vengeance in motion. Killing brings more killing, and revenge spawns more revenge. How will the 91-day story of these men guided by a tragic fate end?"
