New information about the Japanese broadcast schedule and the opening and ending themes for Soul Buster, an upcoming TV anime adaptation based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms-inspired manhua by Bai Mao, is now available online.
Soul Buster will broadcast in Japan according to the following schedule:
- Tokyo MX: every Tuesday during the 18:30 time slot beginning on October 04, 2016.
- BS11: every Tuesday during the 26:00 time slot beginning on October 04, 2016. (Actually 2:00 AM JST on October 05, 2016.)
Additionally, performers for the opening and ending themes of Soul Buster have been announced. The opening theme, entitled "SOUL BUSTER", will be performed by Ayane. The ending theme, entitled "MY OWN LIFE" will be performed by Zwei.
Soul Buster is directed by Kobun Shizuno and Odahiro Watanabe and features animation by Pierrot. The story involves Son Shin, an ordinary high school boy in who lives in Jingzhou, who ends up embroiled in an unusual adventure after awakening from a strange dream about The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Each episode will run for approximately 15 minutes in length.
