Have you ever wanted to experience the life or death games featured in Nobuyuki Fukumoto's Kaiji? No? Not even the steel beam challenge from the anime adaptation's first season? Well, an opportunity is on the way regardless, with developer Solid Sphere working on Kaiji VR: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair for PlayStation VR.
Currently set for a winter release in Japan, Steel Beam Crossing of Despair is exactly what it sounds like. Players will be able to join as a contestant alongside other characters such as Kaiji, Sahara, and Ishida, with infamous scenes recreated in virtual reality.
