A teaser website for the upcoming feature film edition of the anime adaptation based on the Trinity Seven: 7-nin no Masho Tsukai action fantasy manga series created by Kenji Saito (story) and Akinari Nao (art), launched today with a teaser visual and a 30-second teaser trailer announcing its February 2017 release in Japan. The film is scheduled to be screened at 16 theaters across Japan.
The TV anime series was aired for 12 episodes from October to December in 2014. All of the main staff, including the director Hiroshi Nishikori (Azumanga Daioh, A Certain Magical Index), and voice cast are confirmed to return.
In commemoration of the release of the film, a Blu-ray box of the TV series will be available on January 25, 2017, at the special price of 21,600 yen (about 209 US dollars). The seven disc set also includes the OAD episode that was bundled with the manga's 11th volume published in April 2015.
