Hideaki Anno has been prepping busily for Khara, Inc.'s tenth anniversary exhibit, which starts today and runs for one week. But his wife, manga artist Moyoco Anno, is observing the anniversary in her own special way -- and that's outside of the one-shot manga she drew for visitors to the special exhibit.
She's using her Twitter to share childhood photos of her husband.

Even in older photos, it's not hard to recognize Anno's somber expression, though Moyoco makes a special note of his "famous" earlobes in her tweet.

She also includes this photo, featuring schoolboy Anno playing an old farmer in a school play. As Moyoco notes, his history with daikon goes back even further than we thought!
"Khara, Inc. 10th Anniversary Exhibit ~Evas from the Past & Future & the Present Studio Khara~" runs from now until November 30, 11 am to 5 pm, at Laforet Museum Harajuku. Tickets are 500 yen.
