Bandai Namco previously announced plans to bring Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 expansion Road to Boruto to the west, and fans in North America can also look forward to a physical release. The packaged version heads to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 3, 2017 for $49.99.
This version doesn't just include the expansion, it also packs in Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 along with all of the bonus DLC and Season Pass content. Those who just want the expansion will be able to purchase it as a standalone download on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for $19.99.
Here's the description from Bandai Namco's press release:
ROAD TO BORUTO brings together the lightning-paced combat, anime-quality graphics, and epic story mode from Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 while integrating an all-new adventure chronicling Boruto Uzumaki’s exploits from BORUTO: Naruto the Movie. In addition to the new story mode, ROAD TO BORUTO will also include new playable characters for both offline and online Free Battle Mode and new fighting styles for Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha in their Hokage Naruto and Adult Sasuke costumes.
Physical versions will also be available in Europe and Japan when it launches worldwide in February.
