Fans of the anime and manga NEW GAME! will probably have already heard about the, well, new game. NEW GAME! -THE CHALLENGE STAGE!- is a training adventure game based on the popular manga and anime series, coming out in January 2017. But not long after, fans will be able to grab a mini-CD featuring six songs from the cast of the series.
TV Anime "NEW GAME!" Character Mini Album (a working title) will include six tracks:
NEW GAME! -THE CHALLENGE STAGE!- OP: "Gugutsu to WORK☆彡" performed by fourfolium
NEW GAME! -THE CHALLENGE STAGE!- ED: "Kōjō Jōjō HIGH JUMP↑↑↑↑" performed by fourfolium
NEW GAME! Episode 3 insert song: "CONTINUE...?" performed by Aoba Suzukaze (CV: Yuuki Takada)
Untitled Song: performed by Hifumi Takimoto (CV: Megumi Yamaguchi)
Untitled Song: performed by Hajime Shinoda (CV: Megumi Toda)
Untitled Song: performed by Yun Iijima (CV: Ayumi Takeo)
fourfolium is, of course, the VA unit comprised of the four lead voice actresses from the show, who also perform the OP/ED themes for the series itself.
As you can see, a lot of things about this album are still yet to be revealed: half of the song titles are still unannounced, and there is no cover art yet available for the CD. What we do know is that it will be available on February 8, 2017, for 2,500 yen plus tax.
