News is pouring in from the joint press-conference Nico Nico livestream event for Overlord and Youjo Senki, including new details about the Overlord compilation theatrical film, which will actually be a film in 2-parts!
The first part, entitled Overlord: The Undead King, hits Japanese theaters on February 25, 2017. The second part, entitled Overlord: The Dark Warrior, hits Japanese theaters on March 11, 2017. The films will include new animation cuts, new characters, and new theme songs by O x T and MYTH & ROID.
Additionally, the release of the Overlord films will be accompanied by a screening of a new animated work of Overlord: Ple Ple Pleiades, the humorous Overlord spin-off featuring cute character designs.
