The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Miyuki Abe's boys love manga Super Lovers today posted a two-minute PV for the upcoming second season, featuring its OP theme song "Hareiro Melody" (Clear Weather-colored Melody) performed by 25-year-old actor Yusuke Yata. A new character Natsu Shiba (CV: Takuya Sato) is also introduced in the video.
Yusuke Yata is best known as Shusuke Fuji in The Prince of Tennis musicals (2012-2014) and as Kogoro Katsura in the Bakumatsu Rock stage plays (2014-2015), and this is his second song for the Super Lovers anime franchise, following the first season's OP song "Okaeri" (Welcome Home) released from Nippon Columbia in May 2016.
The first season of the TV anime produced by Studio Deen aired for 10 episodes from April to June of this year, and has been available for Crunchyroll users worldwide except for Asia. The second season
is set to premiere on AT-X, Tokyo MX, and TV Saitama on January 12, 2017.
